Celje Museum of Recent History

Eastern Slovenia

The permanent Living in Celje: 1900–2000 exhibition here records the story of Celje from the late 19th century onwards. It's not the most interesting of Celje's swag of museums, though kids may enjoy the re-creation of an early 20th-century street, complete with tailor, hairdresser, clockmaker and goldsmith.
