If you are up for a night of bar-hopping, you can't do better than Dumskaya ul. Datscha is crammed into a crumbling, classical façade, along with three other hot spots for drinking and music. Shabby chic décor, cheap drinks and a strict 'no house or techno' policy.

    Great little watering hole in St Petersburg

    irene_adler recommends this,

    Have had more than a few great nights in this little bar and the strip along Dumskaya Ulitsa. Great vibe, mostly decent music (played loud), and a place where you can meet genuinely fun Russians.

    It does fill up and spill out onto the street which can make it a bit tricky to get a drink sometimes. Don't forget to return your glasses to the bar as you'll most likely pay a deposit (in the event of breakage).
