Srinagar & the Kashmir Valley

A 15-minute walk towards Thajiwas Glacier along horse tracks facing Hotel Snowland, or 2km by road from opposite Hotel Sonamarg Glacier, the nauseating green colour scheme and collapsing balconies of the four-room hut look initially discouraging. However, sheets are cleaner than one might anticipate, bathrooms have geysers and the setting is idyllic. Book via J&KTDC.
