Gilson Pond Campground

New Hampshire

Well placed for a sunrise ascent up the mountain, this state park campground has 35 peaceful, well-shaded sites. From November through April, when Gilson Pond is closed, camping is available at the park's Headquarters Campground, near the main entrance, on a first-come, first-served basis. The latter is usually open only to youth groups in summer.
