This April sees the release of the 25th official James Bond film, No Time to Die. To celebrate, one company has launched a bespoke package that brings guests to Tuscany to live out their ultimate spy dream. As well as sleeping in Talamon Tower, an iconic landmark that was featured in 2008’s Quantum of Solace, travellers will take part in speedboat rides, cocktail classes and casino nights.
Operated by Oliver’s Travels, the seven-night James Bond experience begins with a private helicopter transfer to the six-bedroom, six-bathroom villa inside the ancient watchtower on a clifftop location that sleeps eight to 12 people. The building has been completely restored and boasts panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, as well as surrounding forests and beaches. Guests will be tended to by a professional butler who welcomes them with martinis before they embark on incredible adventures that include a drive through the Tuscan countryside in a classic car (Skyfall’s Aston Martin DB5 and From Russia With Love’s Bentley Mark IV for instance) and a black-tie dinner at the Michelin Starred Il Pellicano restaurant at the Hotel Il Pellicano.
“This is the only James Bond package experience where guests can not only live like Bond through a range of activities including helicopter transfers, boat rides in a Sunseeker speedboat, a cocktail masterclass and private casino night, but guests can actually stay in a location where a scene from one of the James Bond movies was filmed,” a representative of Oliver’s Travels told Lonely Planet.
The cocktail masterclass takes place at the villa, where guests will learn how to make some of the most famous drinks featured in the films, followed by dinner cooked on the terrace by a private chef.
The experience for 12 people costs £90,000 and includes seven nights’ accommodation and all food, transfers and activities.
