Povilas Stulga Lithuanian Folk Music Instruments Museum

Kaunas

This museum shows that almost any raw material can be turned into a musical instrument. Housed in a 16th-century Gothic house, the wonderful 7000-piece collection includes wood and bone flutes, unusual reed pipes, three-string cellos, and both basic and elaborately carved kanklės (zithers).
