Lonely Planet review for Joney’s Place
Open at the crack of dawn, this pocket-sized, brightly painted, travellers’ institution whipped up its first creamy lassi in 1978 and continues to serve visitors veg snacks, pancakes, toasted sandwiches and the like.

Good, cheap eats at Joney's Place near the Taj Mahal
kenpeters17 recommends this,
Joney's Place is a small but colorful and pleasant place, presided over by the affable Joney and featuring very inexpensive, varied and somehow global-but- down-home fare. A short walk from the Taj Mahal, Joney's includes Indian, American, Italian, Korean and other such choices on the menu. The lassis are excellent. Joney's serves breakfast starting very early, lunch, dinner, and stays open late. Food's good and it's a fun - and certainly not fancy - place.
