Inspired by the Gaulish comic book, this theme park 35km north of central Paris covers the whole ambit of European history, from prehistory to the 19th century, with its six 'worlds' packed with adrenaline-pumping attractions such as roller-coasters and shows suitable for all ages. Daily shuttle buses depart from the Carrousel du Louvre at 9am and return at 6.30pm.
