Fototeca de Cuba

Habana Vieja

This photographic archive of Old Havana from the early 20th century onward was started by former City Historian Emilio Roig de Leuchsenring in 1937. There are an estimated 14,000 photos inside, and they have been instrumental in providing the visual pointers for the current restoration. Revolving photographic exhibitions are held in the upstairs rooms. Check the website for events.
