Lonely Planet review for Le Café du Clocher Penché

This café serves classy, classic bistro fare and proudly shows off local products like Québécois fromages (cheeses). What sets it apart are the one-of-a-kind weekend brunches. Brioche comes with caramelized pears, homemade crème fraîche, caramel sauce and almonds. An English muffin is served with veggie pâté, poached eggs, cheddar cheese, pesto vinaigrette, roasted potatoes and vegetarian chili. Reservations recommended.

    alottapickles recommends this,

We lucked out and were able to get a table during Sunday brunch time. The meal started with a yogurt parfait that consisted of granola, pineapple and strawberries. The brioche came stuffed with lemon custard and a strawberry sauce with almonds that were like cookies. My buckwheat waffles were topped off with smoked salmon, a poached egg, brie cheese, hollandiase sauce and roasted potatoes. Both were excellent, a definite must for brunch!
