Lonely Planet review
Arrive early to this tiny, outstanding boteco a quick walk from Vila Mariana's metro station – crowds fight over the few tables here for some of the city's best caipirinhas, in exotic flavors (jabuticaba , starfruit with basil, tangerine with dedo-de-moça pepper; R$15-19), and shockingly good coxinhas (battered and fried shredded chicken, catupiry cheese and spices; R$20).
The house-made hot sauce is the best we've found in the country. Put your name on the list, but you'll be drunk and full before you get a table.
