Bird's Isle may be the best that Belize City has to offer. An island oasis at the southern tip of town, it manages to defy the urban grit that lies just a few blocks away. Locals and tourists alike flock to the open-air palapa to partake of sea breezes, fresh-squeezed juice and cold beers, as well as delicious burgers and tasty snacks like conch fritters. Thursdays from 8:30pm to 1am is karaoke night; the bar also has live music occasionally.
