About Mary
For almost three decades, I've been travelling around, living in and writing about some of the most beautiful destinations in Africa, and loving every minute of it. Highlights: hiking on South Africa's Cape Peninsula, watching sunset over the Serengeti in Tanzania, experiencing the Namib desert, and getting to know so many people along the way. I’m profoundly grateful to have spent this time on the African continent and hope to be able to spend at least as long giving back to the people and cultures from whom I have received so much.
