About Anirban
I’m a writer, conservation filmmaker, scuba diver, mountain hiker and ale brewer (among other things), and my interests have kept me on the road since 2007 — which is also when I started writing for Lonely Planet. My passion to immerse myself in new places, peoples, cultures and ecosystems (both terrestrial and marine) has taken me to every continent, and I am currently on a long-term exploration of our oceans, perhaps the most critically important geographical entity of our times.
