Wildlife Camp

Lodge, campground in South Luangwa National Park

This spacious, secluded spot about 5km southwest of Mfuwe village is popular with both overland groups and independent travellers. There are nine simple stone-and-thatch chalets (two with basic kitchenettes), five airy tented ones and a big, open area for campers with its own bar and pool area. Its tented camps have some of the best views in the park.

A restaurant serves up standard international fare. There’s also a bush camp, which makes a great overnight safari walking option (US$250 per person, all-inclusive).
