Live like Vietnamese royalty on this 6-hour sailing junk cruise inspired by the life of Emperor Bao Dai, Vietnam's last emperor. Enjoy activities from snorkeling and kayaking through to fishing and boating, learn about island life, visit a secret beach, and enjoy a sumptuous lunch with four specialty drinks.
Expect pickup from your hotel between 8am and 8:30am depending on location for the short drive to Nha Trang Port where you'll board your junk for your cruise. Enjoy a welcome drink as your guide introduces you to the craft, the culture, the food, the area, and the emperor Bao Dai, and gives you a safety overview. Cruise through the beautiful waters of Nha Trang Bay to Hon Mieu Island, where you'll disembark to learn a little bit about traditional lifestyles. Explore the coast by basket boat, then visit floating fish farms to see contemporary aquaculture in action. Back on the junk, you'll cruise past Hon Tam, Hon Mot, and Hon Mun islands to Bai Cau. Spend the morning relaxing on a secret beach. Choose between activities like snorkeling, swimming, fishing, kayaking in either a normal or glass-bottom kayak, or boating in a basket boat: scuba diving is available at Mun Island nearby for an additional USD $30. Or simply relax in the sun, swim, or unwind at the Mango Bar, admiring the sails that float across the clear blue waters of the bay.At 11:30am, you'll board the boat again for lunch. Admire views of Hon Tre island with its tranquil lagoon and floating fish farms as you enjoy a sumptuous set lunch washed down with local beers, fine wine, or premium spirits. Then it's back to the beach for more relaxation. You'll draw anchor at 2:30pm and cruise back to Nha Trang port. Look out for Vung Ngan floating village, Vinpearl Island, and Bao Dai Villas as you return to the mainland. You'll land at 3pm, and should be back at your hotel between 3:15pm and 3:45pm.
