Excellent, unique traditional-style lodge managed by Westerners and locals from the S'Tieng and Ma minorities. Accommodation is in two well-constructed timber longhouses, with good, screened bedding, modern facilities and plenty of activities on offer. It's a 12km bicycle ride from the park HQ in the indigenous village of Ta Lai. A third of the profits go to local charity projects.
Set amidst tropical rainforest, Ta Lai Longhouse is a traditional bamboo accommodation situated within 20 metres from Vam Ho Lake and 100 metres to Cat Tien National Park. It operates a 24-hour front desk and offers motorbikes/mountain bikes for rent. Located in the Ta Lai ethnic village, the property is 2 km to Dong Nai River. Tan Phu Bus Station is about 24 km away, while Cat Tien National Park main headquarter is within 12 km away. Fan-cooled dormitory rooms are fitted with wooden flooring, mosquito net and a seating area. Rooms feature a terrace with views of the river or lush greenery. Guests have access to shared bathroom facilities that include hot shower. Ta Lai Longhouse has a tour desk that can assist guests with ticketing services, sightseeing and travel arrangements.
