About two hours east of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain is the largest desert city in the UAE. An oasis of Unesco World Heritage-inscribed sites, it was once a vital stop on the caravan route for Bedouin horsemen crisscrossing the Arabian Peninsula. The traditions of horsemanship continue here today.
