Kolob Canyons' most famous hike is not actually in the park itself, but 7 miles north outside the town of Kanarraville. Immortalized in countless photographs, this enchanting slot canyon features two waterfalls, both of which can be ascended via tree trunk ladders (carefully inspect the state of both – they are not always safe to climb). Expect crowds and cold, wet feet.

Reserving a permit online is recommended, though you can also pick them up at the trailhead; note that payment is by credit card only.

Access the hike from E 100 N St. It's about 1.5 miles (one way) to the first waterfall.
