Day Trip to Leavenworth via the Cascade Mountains from Seattle

Tour group will be between 2-5, and you'll travel in our comfortable SUV. From your hotel, B&B, Airport or Pier,  you'll head East on your tour, past animal and agricultural farms and through old mining towns on your way through the Cascade Mountains. First, you’ll see Snoqualmie Falls, about 45 minutes outside Seattle. The Falls are 268 feet tall and regardless on the time of year you'll see a beautiful. There’s a gift shop if you wish to explore local items. Then you’ll travel over Snoqualmie Pass and Blewett Pass to Leavenworth. As needed you can stop to stretch your legs on this 2 hour drive, to stretch or grab a snack or coffee.Next stop is lunch in Leavenworth (own expense), a Bavarian wonderland of its own, with time to explore the river walk and the town. There are many many restaurants to choose from, some with Schnitzel, some with Bratwurst, or go with Italian, Mongolian Grill, or Mexican.The town will entrance you; so like Bavaria (Germany/Switzerland).Tumwater canyon is beautiful as you continue along the Wenatchee river after lunch, with many whitewater sections and an historic dam. Stevens Pass has a ski resort which has no snow in summer, and if you’re a hiker, you should know the Pacific Crest Trail crosses here.Learn history of the natives and the settlers as the railroad was brought west. You'll see the Skykomish River and 2 very different waterfalls, Bridal Veil  across the valley, and Deception Falls, where you'll have a chance to walk an easy trail to experience this amazing river and creek. Maybe see a Sasquatch at the Big Foot Coffee shop before returning to your hotel/airport location.

Cascade Mountains, Waterfalls Private Scenic Tour from Seattle

After pickup from your accommodation in Seattle in our company SUV, you'll almost immediately be in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains.  Begin with Snoqualmie Falls, then make your way over to Leavenworth for lunch. This drive is beautiful with the evergreen trees of Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar and Madrona, and deciduous Big Leaf Maple along with Red Alder.You'll travel past farms and old mining towns and learn the history of our local Native people and settlers as the railroad was brought west. On Stevens Pass, you'll drive along the Wenatchee and Skykomish Rivers, and see two different waterfalls, Bridal Veil Falls and Deception Falls.  Keep an eye out for the legendary Sasquatch, aka Bigfoot, on the West side of Stevens Pass! You'll also see Snoqualmie Falls, a 268' waterfall on the Snoqualmie River, and walk the Deception Falls trail. This trail is fantastic with the water roaring down the falls, then slowing in clear pools surrounded by rocks and trees.

Wenatchee Class 2 River Rafting

The Wenatchee River In July and August is a mellower whitewater trip. Offering a mix of class 2 whitewater, great swimming, wildlife viewing, and some amazing river time with the family. We are one of the only outfitters on the Wenatchee to have a fully-operational base-camp on the banks of the Wenatchee River. All trips include a wetsuit for everyone, a pair of neoprene booties, a type 5 high-float PFD, as well as a full BBQ style lunch, and a fully-guided excursion with one of our fun and experienced professional river guides. In addition, our Wenatchee river trips feature a deluxe base-camp on the Wenatchee River with a private picnic area, hammock corner, changing rooms, private parking, camping, restrooms, retail area, Wi-Fi hot spot, and digital pictures - all on the banks of the Wenatchee River.The Wenatchee river is located close to Wenatchee, WA and Leavenworth, WA and is about 2.5 hours east of Seattle in central Washington.

Paddles and Pints Whitewater Rafting and Brewery Tour with Tastings

Your adventure starts at 9am at check-in at our on-river basecamp on the banks of the Wenatchee river.  From there, you spend first half of the day rafting the best class 3 whitewater the Wenatchee river has to offer.  We raft all the way to our basecamp, where we have lunch and relax for a bit in a hammock.  That afternoon we wisk you off to 3 of the best breweries in the Valley.  A driver and tour guide will escort you to 3 brewerys, and the first pint of beer at each stop is on us.  Afterwords we arrive back at basecamp where dinner is made for you.  That night is spent enjoying a cold beer around the campfire reminiscing about the whitewater and your favorite beer of the day.  The next day, you are free to stay at basecamp as long as you would like, and off to the next adventure you go.  The Wenatchee River is our crown jewel of rivers.  We are one of the only outfitters on the Wenatchee to have a fully-operational base-camp on the banks of the Wenatchee River.  All of our trips include a wetsuit for everyone, a pair of neoprene booties, a type 5 high-float PFD, as well as a full BBQ style lunch, and a fully-guided excursion with one of our fun and experienced professional river guides.  In addition, our Wenatchee river trips feature a deluxe base-camp on the Wenatchee River with a private picnic area, hammock corner, changing rooms, private parking, camping, restrooms, retail area, Wi-Fi hot spot, and digital pictures - all on the banks of the Wenatchee River.The Wenatchee river is located close to Wenatchee, WA and Leavenworth, WA and is about 2.5 hours east of Seattle in central Washington.Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad and pillow not included.  There is an option to stay at a local hotel if camping in not for you.

Wenatchee River Family Float trip
