Lebanese Taverna has been cooking kibbe, shawarma, eggplant, lamb and other traditional dishes for more than three decades. It’s pretty routine fare, but everyone we know with kids loves it for the ‘little ones’ menu and the staff’s genuine friendliness toward the younger set. Eat in the high-ceiling, gold-hued room or outside under the shade umbrellas.

Thursday nights feature belly dancing (starting at 8:30pm or 9:30pm).
