The tragedy of Georgetown’s darker side encompasses the oldest neighborhood in DC with local legends, ghost stories and true crime events from its past.In this evening walking tour, you will stroll the historic streets of Georgetown and hear long ago tales of tragedy, romance, and lore.  With its architecture, pedigree, and ambiance, Georgetown is a lovely place to visit.  However, the houses, churches, and cemeteries of this tiny neighborhood are still haunted by their past.  Come find out why…This tour is Adults Only due to mature content.Where: The tour starts at the C&O Canal Bridge on 31st Street NW, just south of M Street NW (near GPS Address: 1061 31st Street NW. Note that the group meets on the bridge over the canal). Look for your guide with the DC By Foot logo!End: 28th and Q Street NW.  Closest Metro: DuPont Circle (Red)Duration: Approximately 100 minutes. Total walking is about 1.5 mile (2,4km).  This tour is not wheelchair/stroller friendly.
