The Grand Canyon is like nowhere else on Earth! This immense formation was cut by the Colorado river along the southern edge of the Colorado Plateau. The river has exposed millions of years of geology and the colorful and awesome formations are breathtaking in their expanse. The incredible scenery of the South Rim is a must see in your lifetime. Experience the fantastic views from this beautiful canyon vista and walk with the nature through the eons of the past. Stay overnight in a hotel near the Grand Canyon.
The South Rim is the deepest and widest part of the Grand Canyon and on this tour we'll stay overnight to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this famous canyon. We depart Las Vegas at 8:00 am and head to Hoover Dam for a photo stop. Next we'll travel to Seligman AZ and see the picturesque remains of historic Route 66, then we'll have lunch along the way at Williams AZ. We will arrive at the Grand Canyon south rim in the afternoon and see the fantastic vistas of this incredibly diverse landscape. You can hike along the rim of the canyon for scenic pictures and learn about the natural and human history of the canyon. Later we'll sit in a quaint cafe while you enjoy the view of the canyon and take in the natural beauty. We'll spend the night in a nearby hotel in the Ponderosa Pine forests surrounding the canyon. We may have a relaxing evening in Tusayan at one of the many restaurants or cozy bars. The next morning we visit the Desert Watchtower on the east rim and stop along the way for photos at the famous Moran Point and Grandview Trail. After we've taken in the best parts of the canyon we'll head back to Vegas. You may take an optional helicopter tour or take a hike on your own to experience your own personal time at the canyon.
