Operates the year-round mail-boat service, delivering people and freight between Stonington and the village settlement of Isle au Haut. In summer, five boats a day make the 45-minute crossing from Monday through Saturday. There are fewer boats on Sundays, holidays and during the off-season. Bicycles, kayaks and canoes (no cars) can be carried for a fee.
In July and August, a couple of services stop at the Duck Harbor Boat Landing, close to the NPS campground and park trailheads. To park your car in Stonington while visiting Isle au Haut costs $11 per day.
