Taos Winery Tour

Experience the first and oldest grape growing region in the country! By visiting three wineries and their vineyards, taste your way through New Mexico wines. Learn about the different grapes that grow in our high desert, short growing season, see where the grapes are actually pressed and processed, and taste our version of varietals you may be familiar with, and others you're meeting for the first time. Join us on Taos's first and only food tour!  Wondering why all the hype about green chili? What's the difference between New Mexican vs. Mexican food? Why is there so much pork in New Mexican dishes? We'll answer all of these questions and more! A progressive lunch lasting two hours, expect a meal. We visit four locally owned Taos food establishments on foot all within one block of the Historic Taos Plaza. Less than 0.5 miles of walking. Food types include eggs, pork, cheese, gluten, dairy, and of course, chili! Foods can change slightly with the season and are dependent upon restaurant availability.
