My husband and me will be in Chicago this August for five days and want to drive to New York, spend 3 days in Manhattan. We have four days between Chicago and Manhattan that we want to use driving around the country.
Was looking at road trips and saw that the vineyards in New York seem quite interesting. As well as the Finger Lakes/ Niagara drive.
Which would be a better drive, the lakes or vineyards, can we do both.
Any advice on driving routes and accommodations are welcome!
Hey all,So my wife and I spent a season (about three years) on the road and living abroad. We did SE Asia/India and lived in the UK (followed by the obligatory European road trip). We have since moved back 'home,' bought a house, settled in (and down), had three kids (5 and a set of 3 year old twins), and built careers.
We also have a monthly conversation about when we should sell it all and leave again. I don't think we are at that stage (yet) but we did recently buy a twenty year…
we are planning our trip to Hawaii and we want to camp in Spencer Beach Park, but we have a night dive planned in Kona and the website states that the gate closes at 9pm and that there is no entry after 9pm...
**=> Is that only for cars and we can walk back in? or we can not enter the campsite at all after 9pm?
Does anyone have experience on this?
Mahalo for the feedback,
I have long wanted to travel along the Mekong - by boat and land - but am now married to a man who is strongly advised to not travel by boat for more than a few hours at a time (he has persistent mal de debarquement that could flare up significantly). Can anybody offer tips on traveling the route primarily by land? I’m not particular about what section, but was initially hoping to make a stop at the 4,000 islands.
Many thanks in advance!
Hallo, I´ve booked 6 Pedestal Ticket for 3pm. Now I need an extra one. Unfortunately on that day and time it is sold out. A Ground only tickets would be ok too but it available just at 2pm.
In your experience could we all take the same ferry? We could try to queue earlier and get on the Ferry earlier, or could the 2pm tickets get on the ferry later?
Any suggestions how could we do it?
I am travelling to the USA and August going to multiple states. I am trying to decide between NC and TX for one of those states and would like others opinions on which state they would prefer to travel to?
