Getting There & Away

Drivers coming from Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island will most likely enter southern Vermont via one of two routes: I-91 in the east, or US 7 in the west. Public transportation here is limited to once-daily buses and trains plying the Connecticut River valley. While southern Vermont has no commercial airport of its own, the airports at Albany, NY, Hartford, CT, and Manchester, NH, are all within one to two hours of the Vermont state line.
