A very pleasant 1/2 day rafting trip that ends with 2 exciting class III+ rapids known as "Nugget Falls" and "Powerhouse". The Rogue is a wonderful taste of whitewater excitement. The Wild and Scenic Chetco river estuary in Brookings offers a variety of experiences ranging from frequent Pelican and Kingfisher sitings to neat coves, sloughs and some of the cleanest water on the coast. The boat basin offers a very easy calm water introduction where you can view the many different commercial fishing boats, Coast Guard vessels and pleasure craft moored up to the docks. Total freshwater paddling distance is about 2.5 miles for the 1.5 to 2 hour tour.

The popular Rogue River Section welcomes thousands of rafters each summer. The Full Day starts at Robertson Bridge and include a scenic float through the famous Hellgate Canyon down through Taylor Creek Gorge. You will experience a few of the smaller rapids and see numerous Bald Eagle nests and wildlife habitats. The afternoon part increases the number of rapids and becomes more remote through Bailey Creek Canyon and the famous Argo rapid. Lunch is served on the Full Day trip. We'll stop at Morrisons Rogue Wilderness Lodge for a lunch buffet call the Lodge with a dietary restrictions.
