Daily flights to/from Denver, Dallas, and Phoenix serve the small Santa Fe Municipal Airport, 10 miles southwest of downtown.
The Sandia Shuttle Express connects Santa Fe with the Albuquerque Sunport.
North Central Regional Transit provides free shuttle bus service from downtown Santa Fe to Española on weekdays, where you can transfer to shuttles to Taos, Los Alamos, Ojo Caliente and other northern destinations. Pick-up/drop-off is by the Santa Fe Trails bus stop on Sheridan St, a block northwest of the Plaza.
On weekends, the Taos Express runs north to Taos from the corner of Guadalupe and Montezuma Sts, by the Railyard.
The Rail Runner commuter train offers eight daily connections (four on weekends) with Albuquerque from its terminus in the Railyard and the South Capitol Station, a mile southwest. The trip takes about 1¾ hours. Arriving passengers can make use of the free Santa Fe Trails bus network.
Amtrak serves Lamy station, 17 miles southeast, with 30-minute bus connections to Santa Fe.
