A big heaping dose of chic amid PB’s congenital laid-back feel. There’s both an ocean view and a futuristic interior (and most excellent bar scene). Sustainably farmed meats and seafood join local veggies to create festivals on the plate. Try dishes like farmers-market apple salad, day-boat scallops, oysters on the half shell or local yellowtail.
The heated terrace is a good place to enjoy happy hour and watch the sunset over Pacific Beach (4-7pm Mon-Fri for $6 well drinks, selected beers and wines, and $3 off small plates). Breakfast is served to 11am.
