Looking for a down-home country barbecue? Well they've got a doozy at the Kahua Ranch. One of the ranch owners, who missed his calling in stand-up comedy, gets things rolling with jokes on ranching life. Busloads of lei-wearing tourists then line up for a hearty buffet of meat and beer in a nearby Quonset hut.
The feast is followed by country music, line dancing, s'mores over the campfire and, best of all, Piggly Wiggly, the performing pig. The cheerful, longstanding event takes place on a gorgeous piece of sloping pasture with wide-open views, making sunset and stargazing by telescope a natural highlight. There's a 15% online discount.
