This is the only institution outside of Paris dedicated to the French sculptor Auguste Rodin. The superb collection is based on works amassed by Jules E Mastbaum in the 1920s. There are versions of The Thinker and Burghers of Calais among its 140 sculptures from every part of Rodin's spectacular career.

Administered by the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the small museum's garden is always open and free.
