Stevens Pass is some 80 miles east, and slightly north, of Seattle. The resort averages 450in of annual snowfall and is known for its wide variety of terrain. It has everything from glades to bowls to bumps to an elaborate terrain park, making it good for groups and families that vary in skill level. There's also a huge lift-accessible ‘backside’ area that gives an awesome backcountry experience, and to top it all off it's 100% run by wind power.
