Getting There & Away

Three major airports – JFK International Airport, LaGuardia Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport – serve New York City and its surrounds with international arrivals. Major regional airports include Buffalo Niagara International Airport, Greater Rochester International Airport and Albany International Airport.

Amtrak ( has train services across the state and into Canada, crossing the border at Niagara Falls.

Greyhound ( and Trailways ( provide bus service all over the state, including many destinations that aren't accessible by train.
