One of the West Village's hottest restaurants, Rosemary's serves high-end Italian fare that more than lives up to the hype. In a vaguely farmhouse-like setting, diners tuck into generous portions of housemade pastas, rich salads, and cheese and salumi (cured meat) boards. Everything, from the simple walnut herb pesto to the succulent smoked lamb shoulder, is incredible.
Some of the produce is grown in-house – or rather, over the house, with a state-of-the art roof garden producing crisp dandelion greens, plump zucchinis and mouthwatering tomatoes. Plan for crowds (reservations only for groups of eight or more) or arrive early.
