Austrian chef Markus Glocker heads this warm, Michelin-starred hot spot, where a pared-back interior puts the focus squarely on the food. Glocker's dishes are beautifully balanced and textured, whether it's a crispy branzino (sea bass) with cherry tomatoes, basil and asparagus; risotto with rabbit sausage, broccoli spigarello and preserved lemon; or scallop crudo with avocado mousse, lime, radish and black sesame.

Service is gracious and the Francophile wine list stellar.
