Getting There & Away

  • Subway Downtown Brooklyn has excellent coverage with the A/C, B/D/F, N/Q/R, 2/3, 4/5 and G. Brooklyn Heights is reachable on the A/C, 2/3, 4/5 and R, while Dumbo's lone subway stop is on the F line.
  • Bus A dozen bus lines run to/from downtown to virtually every Brooklyn neighborhood that a visitor might be interested in. The B62 connects Dumbo to Williamsburg and Greenpoint; the B67 and B69 run from there down through the middle of Park Slope. The B25 runs through Bed-Stuy to the base of the Brooklyn Bridge.
  • Ferry You can get to Wall St and midtown Manhattan (and, in summer, Governors Island) on the NYC Ferry, which has stops in Brooklyn Heights/Dumbo and at Atlantic Ave.
