At first glance, ABC looks like a dimly lit beer shop (indeed bottles are available for purchase); but venture deeper inside and you'll find a small indie-rock–playing gastropub in back, with a long communal table, a few plush leather sofas and chairs set against the brick walls.

The generally young crowd come for craft beer (350 by the bottle and 12 constantly rotating selections on draft), plus cheese plates, smoked meats and delicious 'brown bag' sandwiches (good value at $9 each). There's also a small patio out the back.
