Drinking & Nightlife

Sedate, upper-class Brooklyn Heights isn't particularly known as a place for nightlife, but it does have a sprinkling of bars along Atlantic Ave, and you'll find more by continuing on into Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill. Dumbo has more restaurants serving alcohol than stand-alone bars, though you'll find a handful along Jay St. There's not much going on in Downtown Brooklyn, but the lively streets around the BAM cultural district in Fort Greene are just across Flatbush Ave.
