Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is the state's largest airport and offers direct flights to a dozen North American cities. The smaller Lebanon Municipal Airport and Portsmouth International Airport serve Hanover and Portsmouth, respectively. The nearby Portland International Jetport, in Maine, is a major hub and offers additional flight options.



Concord Coach Lines ( operates a bus route to and from Boston's South Station and Logan International Airport, with stops in Manchester, Concord, Meredith, Conway, North Conway, Jackson, Pinkham Notch, Gorham and Berlin. Another route runs through North Woodstock/Lincoln, Franconia and Littleton.

Dartmouth Coach ( provides services from Hanover, Lebanon and New London to Boston's South Station and Logan International Airport.

Vermont Translines ( runs buses from Hanover to central Vermont, with stops in Woodstock, Killington and Rutland.

Car & Motorcycle

The Blue Star (or New Hampshire) Turnpike along the seacoast, Everett (or Central) Turnpike (I-93) and Spaulding Turnpike (NH 16) are toll roads.
