The very eastern edge of Biddeford Pool is managed by the Maine Audubon Society, which has preserved a small slice of coast for the public. A quick walking path gives visitors access to a spectacular view (and taste) of the southern Maine coast, a panorama of rocks, tide pools and, in the distance, Wood Island.
