Water Sports in Brooklin

Sea lovers from across the globe come to this beautifully sited 64-acre campus each year to take courses on sailing, kayaking, boatbuilding and woodworking. The renowned school, going strong since 1980, has numerous classes geared towards everyone from beginners eager to learn a new skill to experts looking to hone their craft.

The program includes women-only courses and even a family week, where adults and children learn and work together.

Tuition ranges from $800 for a five-day sailing or kayaking course, to $1250 for a two-week boatbuilding tutorial. Lodging and board is available, and there's also a campground for those who prefer to sleep outdoors.

The campus is located about 1.5 miles southeast of Brooklin; take the Naskeag Point Rd and follow the signs.
