Mediterranean in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Brentwood & Westwood

Yes, it has traditional Mediterranean dishes covered, but Momed (short for Modern Mediterranean) also melts avocado into its hummus, crafts shawarma from duck breast, oven-dried tomatoes and fig confit, and loads wood-fired flatbread with akawi cheese, spicy beef soujuk (spicy dry sausage) and red onions. While it probably won't knock your socks off, the food is generally consistent and tasty.

Warning: the place gets pretty loud when busy.
