Hermosa's gastropub deluxe, in a space that used to be a church and, later, punk rock band Black Flag's rehearsal space. History continues with a graffiti wall and equally anarchic daily-changing menu divided into 'swimmers', 'carnage', 'ruffage' and, um, 'plats principaux': dishes such as PIG pop tarts (smoked pork confit, bacon and Gruyère in puff pastry), escargot poppers and pho-poached chicken salad.

There's a stainless-steel bar and ample seating at wooden tables scattered throughout the hardwood interior, which can get pretty noisy, so you may prefer the patio. It pours its own house-made craft beer.
