If you're looking for a break from musty Victorians with floral wallpaper, you'll love this contemporary inn wrapped in a century-old farmhouse. The three suites in the main house groan with casual luxury. Oversized Jacuzzis, marble bathrooms, wine and cheese in the evening – this is pampering fitting its Tanglewood neighborhood setting. There are also two private stand-alone cottages.
Breakfast – fresh, homemade, decadent – is served in the creamery overlooking the pond or outside in the courtyard. In the summer the barn is transformed into a gallery space for an art exhibition; visitors are welcome.
