On this small-group day trip from Las Vegas, travel to northern Arizona to see two bucket-list locations: Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. The most photographed slot canyon in the world, Antelope Canyon will offer a vantage point not to be missed. At Horseshoe Bend, see a rock formation that sits in the middle of the Colorado River. Its distinctive markings and impressive height make this memorable site. Your driver/guide will be happy to answer any questions about the area.Tour includes breakfast, complimentary bottled water, and round-trip transportation from most on-strip Las Vegas hotels.
From the beginning of the day, enjoy a first-class experience. After an early morning start at 6am from Las Vegas Strip hotels, travel in a small-group vehicle equipped with comfortable leather seats and USB ports. Your driver-guide is well versed on the area and will narrate throughout the day. Make a stop for breakfast at Denny's (included in tour price), and enjoy the scenic drive from Las Vegas to Antelope Canyon. When you arrive, take an approximate 1.25-hour tour through the canyon with a certified Navajo guide to see red sandstone walls with corkscrew formations, dramatically illuminated by light streaming down into the slots, which are simply astounding. You'll also go to the lowers, where there are steep ladders, so it is recommend you bring comfortable walking shoes (no flip-flops, open-toed shoes or heeled shoes). If it is windy, sand could possibly fall from above, so dress accordingly. Then it's off to the ever-impressive Horseshoe Bend, just minutes away. There is a 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike on a dirt trail, which is both uphill and downhill (there is no place to sit down on the trail and there are no hand rails). Look over the edge - about 1,000 feet (305 meters) down - to a rock formation in the Colorado River. Horseshoe Bend is the top attraction in both the Lake Powell and Page, Arizona areas. You'll arrive back in Las Vegas at approximately 8pm.
