Naʻalapa Stables organizes rides both into the Waipiʻo Valley, and across the rolling hills and pastures of the 8500-acre Kahua Ranch, which affords exceptionally fine views of the coast from its 3200ft elevation. Either way, this is mostly a nose-to-tail ride, set at the level of the most inexperienced rider. Naʻalapa's guides are personable and knowledgeable. No kids aged under 8 years.

Turn off Route 250 between mile marker 11 and 12; it's the first building on the right.
