Joey's Kitchen

Hawaiian in Kaʻanapali

Chef Joey Macadangdang has lived on Maui for more than 20 years and fuses Hawaiian-island flavors with Filipino dishes at this no-frills canteen-style eatery: expect breakfast, lunch and dinner on paper plates. What it lacks in ambience Joey's makes up for in flavor – the seafood is freshly caught and prepared as ahi poke bowls with rice, mahimahi tacos, or coconut shrimp with fries.

Huli-huli (rotisserie-grilled) chicken and beef short ribs are also on the menu. Ingredients are locally sourced and the marinades are homemade.
