This hostel attracts a mix of semi-permanent residents and backpackers. A friendly, eccentric staff, worn '70s furnishings and a relaxed attitude to cleanliness and formality lend the place a throwback roadhouse feel. It's in a tree-lined neighborhood and is an easy walk to Houston's major museums and trams.
