These 21 rooms – some enormous and most with full kitchens – catch delicious mountain breezes and have attractive light-wood furniture. There’s a fish-cleaning sink and barbecues. Some times of year require a two to three night minimum stay.
Located 25 minutes’ drive away from the East Entrance to Yosemite National Park, this motel features a lobby with a large screen theatre and rooms with free Wi-Fi. BBQ facilities are located on-site. A cable TV and a work desk are included in all of the spacious rooms at June Lake Motel. Guest rooms offer framed artwork, ceiling fans and generous wooden accents. For convenience, a launderette is located on-site. Mono Lake is 20 minutes’ drive away from this motel. The historical ghost town of Bodie is 39 miles away. Skiing, hiking and fishing opportunities are offered in the nearby area.
Please be sure to check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) typically closes from late October until late May. When the Tioga Road is closed, it is not possible to drive to Tuolumne Meadows or enter Yosemite National Park from the east. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year. Please note: This year, the Tioga Pass will be closed until late June.
